Fit for the Future

As a growing business it’s really important that we ensure all our managers know how we like to do things at Lifetime. “Fit for the Future” is our internal management development programme, designed to create a common language and a consistent, practical approach that will support all our managers in delivering great results. The programme is a mix of interactive and practical workshops and behavioural assessments which are supported by post training learning. Each year we identify and select a number of managers who would benefit from this training solution.

Lifetime Fuse

Our own intranet, Fuse, is an innovation design to support excellent communication throughout the business. Fuse helps our employees to self-study, integrate and collaborate effectively with a  wider community. We encourage everyone to interact, by posting comments and asking questions, enabling a constant dialogue to take place.

Onboarding

We place the highest priority on ensuring that when you join us you are welcomed into the Lifetime family and introduced to our culture and ways of working.  We hold a Lifetime induction for all our new colleagues at our Support Hub in Bristol where you learn all about Lifetime. You will learn about our history, vision, culture, ways of working and key people as well as all the practical things you need to know, such as health & safety, processes and IT. Following this, support hub colleagues will receive in-role training to get you up to speed in your role.

We are passionate about ‘growing our own’ talent so as well as welcoming already qualified assessors we recruit team members with sector specific occupational experience and qualifications for our Regional Trainer roles. These roles are supported by a structured onboarding programme that spans your first six months with us and offers a phased introduction to the role, allowing for ongoing support from mangers, trainers and the quality team.   In this way you will become an expert in understanding our business, our clients and our learners and be able to comfortably deliver the exceptional service that we pride ourselves on.
